Contemporary art platform ‘Obscura’ presents Sopho Kobidze’s installation Molecules. Site specific installation showed works created during last year.

Studio time and working process which is like a monologue, on the show was transformed and opened for a dialogue with viewers. Paintings, works on paper, created and found objects were moved from studio in the living room in friend’s apartment. Installation takes place of ordinary, everyday life and relationships. Objects, parts of the big picture, are fragments of the stream of thoughts. Through different lightening and view angle particles of the installation are born again and create new configurations. Guests of the exhibition, people, who enter the living room, are involved in the process of transforming artists monologue into a dialogue. Each moment, presented objects, their shadows, reflections, shadows of visitors create different associacions and start a new life.
