SPLINE LINE

Spline line – is a name of the material that was aired around 2005. it is about capture operation of heretic priest by police forces, who was abusing religious minorities, burning their literature bitting them up etc. he was able to do so because previews government was turning the blind eye on these crimes.

Obviously this operation could be done based on intelligence information, quietly and effectively but on the contrary it happened with maximum use of force, on the backdrop of huge violence. when you look at it in time perspective it was not accidental but somehow was a symbolic act that represented the character and tendency of new post Rose-revolution political discourse in our country that would last for almost a decade. It was very important for this new political discourse to exercise this violence, to show this moment of breaking the church doors with big trailer car. It was symbolic gesture representing and stating a new contract, new rhythm and clear break with old perception of ineffective governance towards very aggressive, very active and dynamic style of governance. And this short clip video of big trailer car braking the door of the church was just about right representation of it.

Although it must be said that despite tremendous amount of violence as it is in case of other materials from early 2000's they show tremendous release of energy and quest for new contract in society, which could go both ways, in direction of positive transformation of the society, emerging of institutions in the place of old outdated social structures or it could also bring very destructive tendencies. It is not up to this research to judge which way it turned out, everybody has their own idea about it, I only emphasize this energy and quest of our society for this new contract.
