If you go to Tbilisi you will easily notice specific types of objects that you can not define, or give particular meaning to it, but sooner or later you will notice the purpose and content of this thing. Objects are literally assembled by locals using any type of materials “what’s in the hands” or “what is on
the market”. Ocean is orientated on these layers as artefacts of the city that are about to vanish because the processes of rebuilding, modernization and development, we will not be able to see the same kind of fashion that can be found in the streets today.

These types of folklore could be found in the suburbs of the city and rarely in the central parts of it, as the main spots of the city and modernity or amenities do not leave the space for individualism and DIY.

The show displays a video that creates a dialogue between constructions of the city and nature in the countryside, also a sample of a handmade object as an example that this instinctive creativity and assembled artifacts of comfort will disappear and may soon be found only in vitrines of museums

The exhibition was accompanied by postcards, which provided tips and photographs to find some spots where you could find examples of these vernacular creations in everyday life.
