Pre-election “Crossed fingers” (representing broken promises) appeared in the city streets as a symbol of getting out of an oppressed state. Politicians always lie to us, give promises they never keep. The political system stands on these games and nobody’s pre-election speeches matter anymore. I can defend myself with disbelief, hopelessness, call out oppressive systems, and oppress them back with this 3 meter-long irony.
