I gather my physical body as a living process, the visuals of which I can imagine and recreate. I recreate a body that is abstract, and in the time of my observation, is in a state of conflict. As a material, I view clay as a trace of an external influence (pressure), that after time forms into a solid object, a relic of passing over a great experience. Clay as the soil is also associated with the human body and the sensation of touch. As for silk, I use its delicacy, lightness, and permeability as a material that points to the ephemeral action, and has the association of respiration.
