Specific space is used to create performative situation, attempting to bring in a new context for avant-guard experiences, the potential of which is mostly adapted to our own, current experiences and visions. “Lost Paradise” (Lost 3+4) is impossible to translate from Georgian, thus it’s impossible to comprehend by people not familiar with the Georgian language. On the other hand the ones who speak Georgian, would have to play with the numbers and letters 3+4 = Paradise – is a play and absurd by itself, but more playful and funny than the deliberate Surrealist one, or well thought-out linguistic anarchism of Dadaists, dramatically charged symbolic ‘absurd”. Performance consists of several elements: seven avant-guard costumes inspired by “Triadic Ballet” of O. Schlemmer, Aria “J’ai perdu mon Eurydice” from Gluck’s opera “Orfeo ed Euridice” (1774); Urban “Trumpet Symphony” (1922) of V. Avraamov and blanc-manger – cold gelatin dessert, enormous eye that will be consumed by performers during the show.
