This work of art was created in 2013 and presents a bread painted with the gold spray. As an artist I responded to the very

recent events of Georgia where at the time of hard economic situation the governors (secular and religious ones) are making

luxurious gifts to each other. Strangely ìThe Presentî was exhibited at the exhibition of modern georgian conceptual art at the

expensive, luxuriously furnished Residence of former President of Georgia held with the initiative of Giorgi Margvelashvili, the

present president of the state. The residence building is also very close to ìSamebaî, the pompous cathedral of the georgian

orthodox church. After several months also a strange coincidence was that a real golden bread was found in the residence of

Viktor Yanukovych, Ukrainian politician and the fourth President of Ukraine in the years 2010-2014.
