Project ArtBeat is pleased to present Nika Sakhanberidze's first solo exhibition at the Project ArtBeat Moving Gallery. The exhibition opening marks the launch of the artist's collaboration with the gallery's online platform. After the opening, Nika Sakhanberidze is represented by www.projectartbeat.com.

Diptychs, God Sticker 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Paint God 1 gathers a number of Sakhanberidze's works commissioned by Project ArtBeat. Objects presented as a two-dimensional hanging painting, paintings of pure color of acrylic paint and assemblages on a canvas bring together the Sakhanberidze's practice general tendencies into one room. Here, color as the main focus of the artist's practice, remains as the central subject of research.

Nika Sakhanberidze born in 1981 in Tbilisi, Georgia, lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. He studied BA Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London during 2008 - 2010. Since 1990's Nika Sakhanberidze has participated in various group exhibitions at such as: 2014 - Art Rules at The Presidential Palace, Tbilisi; 2011 – The Fragment of time which is not recorded Center of Contemporary Art - Tbilisi, 2003, 2004, 2005 - A Jain Marunouchi Gallery, New York and has had a number of solo exhibitions, such as: 1999 - The National Gallery, Tbilisi; 2002 - Gallery Gora, Montreal, Canada; 2006 - A Jain Marunouchi Gallery New York; 2007 Mziuri Art Festival, Installation, Tbilisi, Georgia; 2010 Goldsmiths, University of London, ’28 Sculptures’, London, UK.
