Unrolling the universe, Irina Gabiani Exhibition [Museum of Fine Arts]

The exhibition will feature works by Irina Gabiani in various media, created by the artist specifically for this exhibition. Its inspiration is the micro and macro worlds with their complexity and diversity. According to the artist, humanity is part of a unique system consisting of numerous intertwined events. Irina Gabiani tries to convey in her works the similarities between infinitely large bodies and infinitely small particles. The works presented at the exhibition are conceptually entirely related to this topic.

Irina Gabiani is a visual artist living and working in Luxembourg. Works in graphics, creates two-dimensional works, as well as installations, sculpture, video art, performance and photography.

The artist intensively manages exhibitions, is involved in international video art festivals, art forums and prestigious international projects. The author has participated in: the 54th Venice International Biennale Arsenale (2011); Italian Pavilion; Torino Festival Video Dia Loghi; Edinburgh International Festival; Toronto International Film Festival Toronto Urban Film Festival (2013); Cologne Video Festival Cologne OFF; Beijing Contemporary Art Fair; Rome Art Festival Sguardi Sonor (2012). Irina Gabiani has received numerous international awards.
