The Unknown World, Irina Gabiani Video Art Exhibition [Museum of Fine Arts]

The world, the essence of existence - these are the topics that humanity has been thinking about for centuries. Probably every person, periodically goes back to thinking about these eternal commandments and tries to find at least a partial answer to them. Irina Gabiani tries to convey a peculiar and interesting interpretation of these issues in different artistic ways.

Irina Gabiani is an artist-conceptualist whose field of interest is graphics, painting, photography, sculpture, installation, video art and performance.

The exhibition will feature 17 video works as well as photo documents. Through these works, the artist tries to show the world from an unusual angle and thus emphasize the main concept of his works - the diversity and complexity of the world. The texts of Jalal-ed-Din Rumi and Laodze are used in the video works.

Irina Gabiani has been living and working in Luxembourg since 1998. He intensively manages exhibitions. He is invited to participate in many international festivals, art forums and international projects.

In 2011 he took part in the 54th Venice Biennale, in Arsenale's main exhibition space, the Italian Pavilion.

Also in 2012 he was invited to the Luxembourg "Design in the city" biennale.
