Art Villa Garikula, 8th International Festival of Contemporary Art in honor of Zdanevich Brothers “Fest I Nova 2016” - “Future Memory”

Opening Date: 25 June, Saturday.
The festival in the village of Garikula began on 29 May.
On 25 June, the fest i nova “future memory” will continue in the former Tsereteli palace, which is currently utilised by the forest department. The exhibition will act as an archive of the village and its history. Participants : Group “bouillon”, Irakli Lobzhanidze, Qeu Meparishvili/Salome Dumbadze, Gvanca Jishkariani, Group “Sekator”, Nino Zirakishvili, Solomon Razmadze, Lia Bagrationi, Dato Mikhailidi, Mariel Tskhvediani/ Marita Rurua, Koka Vashakidze, Nastasia Arabuli, Ana Kochiashvili/Zizi Nishnianidze, Maka Kiladze, Gio Jincharadze.
After the exhibition, a flea market will take place in the bazaar of Akhalkalaki. The magazine “Indigo” will provide the foundation of a new village library. Following this, the writers will conduct a public lecture in the village. Guests will be able to taste Tarkhnishvili wine in a 17th-century cellar specially reconstructed as part of the festival. A free film screening organised by the “აჰუაჰუ” Fund will take place in the old city wall.
