River's Magic Garden

2020

With great anticipation, Art and Innovation Hub – Tbilisi presents the program of the festival „River’s Magic Garden“which you can attend from September 1-7.

The „River’s Magic Garden“ festival aims to transform about half a hectare meadow on the right embankment of the river Mtkvari, where Vere River and Mtkvari meet, into public space. Not yet being accordingly apprehended by the city, the naturally grown garden represents an alternative reality by the riverside embedded with concrete walls. This riverbank closest to the city center provides a unique gateway to the river Mtkvari.

The venue, chosen for the festival, will host local and international cultural events on one side and will also provide visitors to the invisible and mysterious place as a potential social space. The Mtkvari River as a unique and ecologically protected area will be cleaned up and during the festival will become a venue for the workshops, exhibition, contemporary music, book presentations, installations and etc.
