This year the world of cinematography is celebrating Sergei Parajanov’s (1924–1990) anniversary. 

As part of Batumi 9th hosts the exhibition of collages and drawings by Sergei Parajanov. The exposition is organized by Batumi Artists’ House ‘Argani’. ‘Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors’ (1964), ‘The Color of Pomegranates’ (1968), ‘Ashik Kerib’ (1988) are distinguished in the world cinematography. Alongside the films, the director produced collages, dolls, drawings that delight viewers for their vividness and poetic spirit. Most of the works are kept in Sergei Parajanov Museum.

On September 17-20 Batumi Contemporary Art Space hosts the exhibition allowing visitors to witness the masterpieces of the great maestro.
