As poets say, one needs to live in a place surrounded by the language they consider as their own. As a poet, they need to be watered with the words familiar to them every day in order to flourish and develop within the language.

Same might be said of an artist. They need the visuality of the place they refer to in their practice. They need to be fed with the visual signs and symbols on a daily basis in order to create within it.

The signs are different. Here, they are specific. Even though, so generously laid in front of the viewer, as if hands wide open inviting to the sacred feast - yet are not open to everyone. One must first learn some of this language in order to be able to read it.

This is why this openness is still so mystical, ungraspable at first glance and demands to spend some time looking.

A sacred feast that is. Take a chance, break the bread, share the wine, dine. You are among a few invited.
