To see a world in a grain of sand, an exhibition of works by Irakli Bugiani [National Gallery]
Irakli Bugiani is a Georgian artist working in Germany. "See the World in a Grain of Sand" is his first solo exhibition in Georgia. The title of the exhibition is selected from the poem of the English poet William Blake - "To See a World in a Grain of Sand". Created paintings that clearly show the artist's aspiration to mysticism.
Irakli Bugiani has participated in numerous group and personal exhibitions. These include: Weltkunstzimmer, Hans-Peter-Zimmer Foundation, Düsseldorf (2015); RichMix, London (2015); Salon Des Amateurs, Düsseldorf (2014); Kunsthalle Recklinghausen, Recklinghausen (2013); Georgian National Museum, Tbilisi (2013); Glashaus, Düsseldorf (2011); Atelier am Eck, Düsseldorf (2009); Gallery Bourgeois Pig, Heidelberg (2008); Gallery AZ, Zagreb (2008) and many more.
The exhibition is organized by Project ArtBeat. The aim of the project is to present Georgian art on the international arena and to support cultural activities in the regions of Georgia.
The project is implemented with the support of the Cultural Events Center of Tbilisi City Hall.
