The exhibition VICTIMA, which means victim in Georgian, deals with the topic of war, occupation and IDPs and is dedicated to the lives of people affected by the ongoing territorial conflicts in Georgia. Through the works presented at the exhibition, the artist expresses his attitude towards the painful topic of what is called the loss of his home, land and water. The author tells the viewer with his emotions transferred to the painting at this difficult stage of the recent history of our country with a three-part cycle of works - VICTIMA (victim), PROFUGA (persecution), LACRIMOSA (mourning), which can be considered as a requiem.

The series presented at the exhibition consists of about 20 works by the artist. These are symbolic-allegorical icons, which are presented as a single metaphorical image, as well as 700 wooden houses, which is an exact analogy of the houses built in the IDP settlement in Tserovani.

Gia Bugadze has participated in many local and international exhibitions. Since 2005 he has been a Knight of the Order of Merit. He has received the Vatican Medal "Carlos Magnus" and many others. Painted by Martin Luther's Church in Berlin, St. Nino's Church in Paris. He also owns the painting of the dome of the Piazza (Batumi), the dome of the Parliament of Georgia, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, etc. From 2003 to 2011, Gia Bugadze was the Rector of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, and currently teaches at the Tbilisi State, Tbilisi Theater and Film and Ilia State Universities.
