Popiashvili Gvaberidze Window Project - gallery in vitrine was founded in 2013 and started its activity in an alternative exhibition space – at an empty window display of the Pantomime Theatre located on Rustaveli avenue to support local artists specializing in the art of the period after the collapse of the Soviet regime, mainly young artists together with internationally well-known names. The main purpose of the concept- gallery in the window display - was to make art as public as possible.

In 2019 Popiashvili-Gvaberidze Window Project transformed as just Window Project and opened an exhibition space where artists and curators are invited for various projects.
